Senior Communications Officer

£38k-£43k - Flexible working and flexi hours (9am to 5pm). We’re seeking a Senior PR & Communications Officer for a highly respected independent school.  This is an exciting new role that will see you working on a variety of internal and external communications campaigns.

Sitting within the extremely supportive marketing and communications team, you will drive the content and engage external audiences through online and offline publications and social media platforms and you will play a pivotal role in making sure they are on brand and delivered on time.  As well as the school itself, you will be promoting the grounds as an events venue and also the great work the school does in the community, maintaining their reputation as a respected world class educational facility.

About You and the Role

You will have experience of planning, delivering and managing communications campaigns, strategies and materials and you will relish the chance to use your experience in a high-profile communications role to devise fresh ways to cultivate the school's global brand.  Using your innovative expertise with traditional and social media, you will create compelling collateral and opportunities to promote the world-class education services that the school provides. You will come from either an in-house or agency background, knowledge of education would be advantageous, what is a must is your ability to write compelling content for both on and off line publications.

This is a wonderful team to work within, they are supportive and fun and you will have support internally from colleagues as well as managing external agencies. This is a highly varied role and no two days will be the same.
