£36-£40K - We’re seeking an Account Manager for a boutique public relations agency based in central London (3 days a week in the office with Monday and Friday work from home) who focus mainly on tech brands, both B2C and B2B side.
The Agency
Founded in 2018, the agency has a fresh, forward thinking vibe and the founder is fun, friendly and agile. Currently looking to bolster the team with three new faces, this is an exciting time to join as they have secured lots of new business. Their clients are extremely varied and include fintech, edtech, print tech, health tech, tracking tech, gaming and even an eco-friendly wrapping paper company! The team tend to work with the clients that they prefer, so to a certain extent you will get to chose the brands that you work with.

The Role
Your role is essential in supporting the team to keep the trains running on time, you'll work with different brands, both big and small, adapting to the needs of each client and your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting copy for different purposes, audiences, platforms (e.g. bylines, social media posts).
- Building and maintaining media relations with key press for the accounts you’re working on.
- Owning the press outreach process including pitching ideas, drafting press releases, securing media interest and converting that into coverage.
- Conducting media monitoring and reporting, supporting the team with evaluating and optimising campaigns, projects etc. based on the results obtained.
You
They are seeking someone who’s proactive, organised and enthusiastic, with a great attention to detail and a good sense of humour. This role is perfect for the person wanting to learn on the job, explore the creative side of PR and be part of a great team. You will either be a Senior Account Executive looking for a step up, or currently an Account Manager seeking a new challenge.
You will have:
- At least 3-4 years experience of working in a PR/comms environment, mostly or all agency-side.
- A true passion for B2C and B2B tech brands and a genuine interest in gadgets, gaming, healthtech, fintech, edtech etc.
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- A talent for media relations and a long list of contacts you know and love as well as a know-how of media landscapes.
- Good leadership and mentoring skills to help the junior team.
- A track record of generating coverage and also enjoy consulting and building relationships with your clients.
